BiotechCorp collaborated with local biotech players for SDSI 2007 Showcase (Melaka)

July 2007 - BiotechCorp participated in the “Satu Daerah Satu Industri (SDSI) 2007” showcase held in Melaka from July 5 to 8, 2007. During this event, BiotechCorp collaborated with four other local biotechnology players as exhibitors. They are SIRIM, MARDI, Rentak Timur Sdn Bhd and Chemical Engineering Pilot Plan (CEPP), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

The SDSI 2007 was organized by the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Co-operative Development (MECD) at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC), Melaka. The Showcase was participated by local and international exhibitors.

The objective of the Showcase was to market and promote products from industries that have the potential to be the main industry of a state. . The event aimed to show State governments, local and international entrepreneurs, the potential industries that can be the focus of a State’s economic activities. The event also highlighted that these products have the potential to be marketed not only domestically but at international shores. It is hoped to create business relationships between importers, distributors and purchasers.
