Vivantis Technologies, a 100% Malaysian-owned research-based biotechnology company incorporated in 2002 is funded partially by Mayban Ventures Capital Corporation (MVCC) Sdn. Bhd. and the Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MDTC). The company specializes in the production of restriction enzymes, DNA extraction kits, DNA amplification reagents and other related products for molecular biology research.

Its products stem from research done in-house to provide integrated solutions for life science researchers in teaching and research labs at institutions of higher learning (IHL), research institutions, hospitals, private R&D and diagnostic labs etc.

The range of products offered by Vivantes Technologies include restriction enzymes that cutes double stranded DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid), polymerases that are used to amplify genes, DNA markers and ladders as size standards and DNA purification kits which are used for the extraction of DNA from various sources for forensics, diagnostics, agriculture and other applications.

The restriction enzyme is Vivantis Technologies’ core product. The company offers over 130 restriction enzymes available in the market. Since launching its products in October 2005 the company’s market reach includes a growing clientele base in the Middle East, Europe, North and South America, Asia Pacific and South East Asian regions.

Vivantis Technologies has successfully established its subsidiaries in Singapore and the United States of America with dedicated representative offices in India and the United Kingdom.
