Nimura Genetic Solutions Sdn Bhd is a
bioprospecting company that specializes in the
discovery of microbes and plants that have novel
compounds leading to drug discovery. NGS operates
within the Convention of Biological Diversity that
stresses each country has its’ sovereign right to
its’ bioresources.
NGS is expanding its’ R & D to include other areas
of industrial microbiology such as microbes for
bioremediation, biodiesel production, enzymes for
industrial purposes and many more within the region
and overseas.
Currently, NGS focuses on two areas:
- Carrying out contract R & D services for
industries.
- To facilitate access rights to the tropical
forest and subsequently providing microbial extract
and medicinal plant products to the pharmaceutical,
sanitary, chemical, cosmetics, pet, textile (dye)
and yeast/lactobacillus for the food industries.
