Chakra Biotech Sdn Bhd (Chakra) is a Malaysian company establishing world-class drug candidate screening through behavioural based in vivo rodent testing. Chakra NBSL will address the needs of the global pharmaceutical and biotech industry for the accurate, timely and inexpensive screening of new drugs for their potential usefulness in the area of central nervous system (CNS) disorders.

Companies developing CNS drugs for any disease face high risks of false positive and false negative signals from conventional screening. They often push poor drugs into clinical development or fail to see the full potential of useful drugs.
