First Base Laboratories Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 2003. It specializes in contract research services in molecular biotechnology as well as contract manufacturing of customized product such as oligonucleotide, buffer and reagents.

First Base Laboratories provides its molecular biotechnology contract research services to biotechnology companies, research institutions as well as universities. The research services activities provided by First Base Laboratories include the followings:

1. Oligonucleotide synthesis research services
2. DNA synthesis research services
3. DNA sequencing research services
4. Protein sequencing research services
5. Protein expression research services

First Base Laboratories also provides contract manufacturing services to its clients. Products produced by the Company can be divided into 4 categories :

1. Buffer solutions (e.g. Tris Buffer, pH7.4 in 500ml etc)
2. Reagents (e.g. Proteinase K in 250mg, Rnase A in 100mg etc)
3. Culture media (e.g. LB Broth)
4. Molecular research kits (e.g. Blood DNA kit, Bacteria Genomic kit etc)
