Grand Range Biotechnologies Sdn. Bhd. is involved in research, development, production and commercialization of microbial-based products for agricultural applications namely soil enhancers, plant growth regulators and bio-pesticides. Grand Range Biotechnologies Sdn Bhd is embarking on the bio-technology development for both the environment and agriculture use. This is in line with the Government’s National Biotechnology Policy (NBP) to promote the biotechnology industry especially in the agriculture industry. The Company has also tied up with Universiti Putra Malaysia to ambitiously venture into the biotechnology industry to add value to its products and services.

Products/services to be offered:

The Company’s range of products which are ready to be commercialized will be marketed under the brand name of GUSANO™ and consists of the following:

- GUSANO™ Rhizo Soil Enhancer
- GUSANO™ Azos Soil Enhancer
- GUSANO™ Tobact Plant Growth Regulator

The microbial-based soil enhancers and plant growth regulators are produced through a synthesis of organic waste materials with bacterial cultures known as microbes. The existence of these living organisms helps in fixing, solubilizing and mobilizing the plants’ nutrient based on their biological activities. Our main product feature difference in the GUSANO™ soil enhancer Series as compared to other bio-fertilizer in the market is that it uses vermicompost as its medium. Based on the pilot scale studies conducted at the pilot farm in Gemencheh, Negeri Sembilan, the use of the Company’s range of soil enhancers have shown stimulated growth in plants, crops and grass.
